“ Very clean and pleasant atmosphere dining outside or inside. Varied menu with traditional and Mexican breakfast choices. Staff are polite and attentive. Reasonable prices. This was my 2nd time eating here. Banana and walnut Belgian waffle on my 1st visit. Strawberry pancakes with 3 strips of bacon on my 2nd visit. ¡Eso es mucha comida! ”
“ Best way to end my trip. Parking wasn't a nightmare, customer service exceeded expectations. Menu's were also available in English which was great for one of my friends. Portions were bigger than expected. I wish I took a photo of the food but I didn't. I did however wanted to make a point to share what I bought at the stand that was in the front. I bought two pieces that I considered beautifully made and I think it was the token to bring back home. ”
“ Food and atmosphere was great! We had the Chilaquilles verdes con huevos estrellados and for dessert the Waffle exotico. The chillaquilles were a bit crunchy but overall had good flavor; Waffle came topped with several fruits on top with whip cream which hit the spot. Only one small complaint; I asked for sour cream before I began my meal and wasn’t brought out after the second request when I was half way done. Overall the experience was great and would highly recommend. ”
“ Our AirBB was close to House of Waffles and decided to try it because it looked so quaint in a old house and beautiful neighborhood. Sit outside or on the terrace....beautiful trees. Waffles with fruit was excellent. Light and fluffy but eat it as soon as it comes out-hot. I also had the Chilaquiles green sauce with fried eggs cooked perfect. Everything Flavorful . Service very good and fast. ”

“ First and foremost, I don't know what other reviewers are talking about "no flavor" this person probably has a taste/health issue. Everything was full of flavor, nice textures and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Another reviewer that it was the same as IHOP, and this place is leaps and bounds above this food chain. As my Primo Piatto I had the "Enfrijoladas Nortenas" and as my Dolce I ordered the "Cajeta" waffle. The first dish was fried tortillas with fresh cheese in a chipotle bean sauce with sour cream and a heavy drizzle of fried chorizo crumbles and it was excellent. As my dessert I had a waffle with Mexican caramel sauce again just perfectly done. However, for me the actual star of the show was the great service. Everyone was so nice and attentive checking on me to warm up my coffee, offering to cover my waffle plate so it wouldn't get cold. Great job and kudos to all the staff! ”
“ GREAT FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE: Looking for a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast? Look no further than La Casa del Waffle. This hip eatery is located in the Chapultepec area and is set is a large colonial home. The yard around the house has been reconditioned for seating area under large, luxuriant trees. I like the chilaquiles divorciados, which are chilaquiles with both red and green sauces and topped off with two eggs, sunny side up. One of our friends ordered the chilaquiles with shredded chicken, which was also good. My wife had the spinach omelette. Bacon wedges inside the creation pumped up the flavor. Another friend had the enfrijoladas, which are rolled, friend tortillas smothered in a bed of refried beans. If you are a coffee lover, you will be pleased with the selections. Friendly waiters whisk around to persistently offer refills. With coffee and extras, the price per person is around 200 MXN, or 10 USD. That is quite a bargain given the location and the quality of the food. House of Waffles is a definite keeper. ”
“ The food’s a little above average so it gives your normal approach for waffles, chiliquiles, and omelets an appetizing touch. Maybe serve the bread warmer so it’s nicer to eat while waiting for the meals. Also find a way to lessen the dozen of flies swarming us while eating. Place so sticky traps or machine they usually have near the patio. Other than that everything was decent and waiters attentive and hard working! ”
